FACTS ABOUT CHEV
Funny Fact: I’ve fallen asleep on the toilet, legs went numb and I had to sit there until the feeling came back (more than once).
Serious Fact: I got beat up for a Jansport bookbag when I was young. I hate Jansport with a passion.
Interesting Fact: I was the official barber in college. Still cutting hair ’til this day.
Plain Fact: I broke a rib, ankle, pinky toe, index finger and thumb in my younger years.
Amazing Fact: I came out of a train in Manhattan and saw a lady get her leg caught between the platform and train as it was pulling away. Her leg pretty much broke. I took her scarf made a tourniquet, elevated her feet, calmed her down and left as a crowd gathered. Not a fan of crowds!!
Think about it and leave a fact about yourself in the comment field!!! This could get interesting!!

WHY THE NAME FITNESS102?
That’s a good question. (1) I always wanted to have a site dedicated to fitness allowing me to express my views on health, wellness and general anatomy & physiology; (2) a great way to venture and contribute to the “fitness” industry; and (3) share my experience about and The Sergeant’s Program. As an instructor, I can see the positive and negative impact of practicing proper/improper form and technique. So randomly, I thought back to my college years of introductory courses that were always suffixed with “101″ and provided the basic info on any particular topic. Around the same time, I had a “AH-HAH” moment when a friend asked, “Can you give me a quick 101 on exercising and how to get started?” So as I’m answering the question, I realized that I truly pride myself on not just knowing the basics, but actually wanting to learn more for personal growth and to share that knowledge with friends/family and now “YOU.” The name FITNESS102 just came to me one day as I compared my knowledge base of fitness to a level “102″ course. As a result, this blog contains the basics to the more advanced information to make you a well equipped reader and become more healthier wherever you may be in your journey. While you ponder that, check out this video I created about my class, the “MIGHTY MIGHTY ROUTE 40″.
